The subject covers the study of electrical systems, different elements and the basics of circuit analysis such as the calculation of current, resistance, impedance, voltage and power. This course is the foundation on which most other courses in the electrical engineering curriculum rests. The utilization of methods and concepts in the basic attacks of complex networks have been given due importance and the analysis of complex DC and AC circuits are given due emphasis.
