This course shall introduce the importance of projects in the industry, and their management to make them successful. It shall emphasize the planning, scheduling, and control of projects including risk management to ensure the achievement of project organizational goals and objectives as well as the satisfaction of stakeholders. Also, it shall introduce the industrial scheduling models adopted for different production settings and layouts. It shall develop the best schedules for each type of production to minimize makespan as well as minimize tardiness penalties and underutilization of resources.
