This course shall introduce the wide field of management; functions of management as planning, organizing, staffing, directing, and controlling; organization theories and case studies at the present time. This lays down the basic foundation of managerial education. It shall trace the contributors and evolution of management as a science, art, and profession. The emphasis is placed on the analysis, comparison, and integration of the different managerial functions. | |||
