This course is continuation of Machine Design 1. It deals with the design of machine elements such as bearings, welded joints, gears, springs, and flexible power transmitting elements. It covers empirical design of machine elements and, design of complete basic machine. Laboratory activities includes preparation of detail & assembly drawings using CAD.
