This course is a synthesis of the history of architecture, from prehistoric period up to the roman period. This course introduces and elaborates on different parts and features of historical buildings and even the environment, including cities in the context of the history of their culture and civilization. The course aims to give the students a different perspective on how contemporary architecture is influence by its history.
