This course deals with the different transmission media used in electronic communications. It involves the propagation of signal using wire and cable transmission systems as well as the usage of the fiber-optic transmission system. It also encompasses the usage of terrestrial wave propagation with the applications of antenna systems. The discussion focuses on Transmission Lines; Electromagnetic Wave Radiation and Propagation; Antenna System and Fiber Optics Communication System. |
