This course is designed for Electrical Engineering Students in order to
prepare them in the higher knowledge of modern power plant engineering. The
first stage of the discussions tackles about the Power Plant Economics and Load
Curve analysis and introducing the types of power plants and its energy
sources. The next stage of the discussion is the operation, construction cost,
generating cost and environmental effects of each types of power plant. Lastly,
the discussion of the economic or optimal dispatch of generation of power
plants.
