Music and Sound Recording will introduce students to the uses, concepts and techniques of sound recording. The students will gain experience with current hardware and software for sound recording, sound recording techniques and best practices. This course is designed as an introduction to sound recording where students will learn about basic sound recording equipment, its proper use and application as well as the production and use of recorded sound in media. Students will also learn how music and sound affects storytelling in different types of media.
