The course deals with different modes of heat transmission, laws governing conduction, convection and radiation heat transfer. It also covers its applications in power/industrial plants, and basic design of heat exchange equipment such as condenser, evaporators, heating & cooling coils. It also includes both the cost and environmental concerns in the selection of specific type of heat exchanger.
